Hiya, I'm Rowan

I'm sixteen and I live in Scotland. I made my first proper bake when I was eight and I haven't really stopped since. Eight years in and I'm still learning something new every time I step into the kitchen, whether that's getting my piping rosettes right on a Victoria sponge or working out why my first three batches of matcha bake weren't quite there.

My signature is the chocolate-dipped caramel biscuit: soft shortbread, sticky caramel filling, completely dunked in milk chocolate. I've made over a hundred of them and Dad still says they're better than anything from a shop. Mum gets the sponge cakes. My wee sister gets the bowl.

The tartan running through this site is our family tartan, Farquharson.
